Job summary

An online learning platform is seeking tutors for ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. As a tutor, you will provide personalized instruction in a flexible, part-time schedule while maintaining a professional environment. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of 3 years' experience teaching K-12 ELA, and be currently located in the UK. This independent contractor position pays $20 USD per class, plus additional incentives, and requires reliability and passion for helping students learn.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability weekly.
• Access to a private and quiet location.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
