Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist in Lincoln to support a pupil with SEMH and behavioural challenges. The role runs full-time during term time, with hours 08:30–15:30, Monday to Friday, and a daily rate of £95–£105.

You will monitor behaviour, maintain welfare, and build strong relationships with the pupil, staff and parents while safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or learning support role.
• Ability to work with pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Offer 1:1 support to a pupil within and outside of the classroom.
• Monitor and address challenging behaviour as it arises.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pupil, staff and parents.
• Ensure pupil welfare and safety at all times.

Job Title: 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist Location: Lincoln Salary: £95 -£105 per day Type: Full-time, Term-time only Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist to join a Primary School school in the Lincoln area. As a 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist, you will support a pupil with SEMH and challenging behaviour. You will also be responsible for ensuring he remains on task within the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Offering support to a pupil on a 1:1 basis within and outside of the classroom.
• Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing challenging behaviour.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the pupil.
• Providing guidance and support to the pupil, ensuring their welfare is protected.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or working with challenging behaviour.
• Reliability and stability for the pupil.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• A caring and nurturing personality.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• A valid DBS check.
