McKeevers Chemists in Keady is seeking a proactive Dispensary Assistant to join our busy community pharmacy. You will be part of a friendly team, assisting with dispensing, customer care, and daily pharmacy operations to support patients’ health needs.

We offer training and development opportunities, including potential to achieve a Level 2 Dispensing Qualification, plus staff discounts, uniforms and a welcoming work environment in a local setting.

• Assist in dispensing medications with precision and care, accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems.
• Provide top-notch customer service, informing customers on health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.
• Handle telephone enquiries and give advice while referring callers to the pharmacist when necessary.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organised dispensary environment, operating stock control including ordering and rotation of goods.
• Till operation and money handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in dispensing medications with precision and care- accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems

• Enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Availability to work across a flexible rota from Monday to Sunday, including late nights until 10:00pm.
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential if you are willing to learn and are passionate about ongoing learning and development.
