0-19 School Nurse – Kirklees

We are seeking an innovative and motivated School Nurse to join our 0-19 teams in the Kirklees area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a qualified School Nurse, you will work as part of a team within a defined area, providing evidence-based, high-quality care. You will have experience working with children, young people, and their families, addressing a range of issues with varying complexities.
You must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively across organizational boundaries, facilitate change, and support service delivery improvements.
Locala offers a comprehensive induction and training program, ongoing supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Knowledge of safeguarding, report writing, and participation in child protection case conferences are essential.
A commitment to partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies is crucial to improve outcomes and address health inequalities in our diverse communities.
