Job summary

Cobden & Carter International is seeking a skilled Java developer to deliver edge-based WSO2 ESB solutions. You will design, develop and test scalable integrations and collaborate with PMs and architects on complex requirements.

The role requires REST API design expertise, SOAP/REST services exposure, and strong communication. The position is hybrid with global travel flexibility and a focus on timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development experience and knowledge of WSO2 open-source tools.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design.
• Hands-on experience exposing web services (SOAP and/or REST).
• Familiar with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy complex, scalable, highly available and reusable applications.
• Lead the implementation of suitable solutions and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to translate requirements to junior team members.
• Assign tasks to developers suitable to their skills and project needs.
• Provide timely status updates to project leadership and address issues early.
• Demonstrate teamwork and assist others across projects.
