Rotork is seeking a Workshop Technician to join our Service team in Paris. You will provide prompt maintenance and testing of electric and fluid power actuators, gearboxes and valve actuation for in-house service jobs, while supporting ticket generation and closure.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales Managers, maintain tools and calibration of safety equipment, and uphold workspace organization, safety, and Rotork policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with electrical and mechanical background and ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and conduct failure analysis of electro-mechanical products
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications and related software
• BTS Maintenance or Electro technique

Description du poste

The Workshop Technician reporting to the Workshop Technician Supervisor, is responsible for providing prompt and effective service on customer-owned actuators. The Technician will work as part of the Service team and work in a safe manner, comply with Rotork Environmental Health and Safety Policies identifying and resolving potential hazards.

This role will involve basic maintenance + maintenance level 2, repair and testing of electric and fluid power actuators, gearboxes and valve actuation for in-house service jobs. The Service Workshop Technician will support the Service Coordinator in generating, maintaining and closing of in-house service tickets.

There will be a close relationship with technical assistance and the other departments, including working with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales Managers. Within the workshop, this individual will be responsible for tools, calibration of safety equipment, preventative maintenance, inventory control and overall tidiness of the workspace.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience (beginner welcome with an Electrical and Mechanical background to include ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and conduct failure analysis of mechanical components and repair/service electro-mechanical products
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications and other related software
• BTS Maintenance or Electro technique

The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who:

• Ability to work independently and sometimes under pressure
