Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture organization leads the security of all Apple products. The team adopts an offensive approach to uncover vulnerabilities and fix them before adversaries exploit them, on a scale of over a billion devices.

Your role focuses on the wireless attack surface across cellular/baseband, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth, plus Thread, NFC, and UWB, spanning radio firmware and host software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vulnerability research targeting wireless technologies such as cellular/baseband, Wi‑Fi, or Bluetooth
• Strong understanding of vulnerability classes and exploitation techniques for wireless protocol stacks and radio firmware
• Ability to apply AI techniques and tools (LLMs, ML) for security research activities

Responsabilités

• Conduct offensive security research across cellular/baseband, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless protocols
• Identify and help eliminate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive security improvements across Apple platforms
