Vestas seeks a field technician to optimize wind farms and maximize turbine capacity in Ruffec, France. You will work in pairs, report to the Area Supervisor, and perform maintenance per Quality, Safety, and Environment standards.

Expected 2–5 years in industrial maintenance or electricity with high voltage knowledge; proficient in English and Office Pack; travel to sites required in a global renewable-energy leader with 40 years of experience and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering certified by the BZEE certification if possible
• Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electricity, with knowledge of high voltage
• Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken) and familiar with the Office Pack.

Responsabilités

• Carry out curative maintenance of the turbines, to optimize performance for clients across the lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth operation of turbines and control components at all stages of intervention.
• Carry out preventive maintenance of turbines according to rules or work instructions, reporting interventions.
