Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Maintenance Technician for field operations in France. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbine systems, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability in demanding outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Vocational high school diploma (Bac Professionnel) in a technical field as a minimum requirement.
• Preference for BTS/DUT qualification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• BZEE Wind Turbine Maintenance certification is considered a strong advantage.
• Initial successful experience in industrial maintenance or electrical systems; knowledge of high-voltage systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Vestas safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic wind turbine systems.
• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, and parts replacements with precision.
• Work safely in demanding conditions, including at height and in all weather.
• Use diagnostic tools and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate with the team to ensure safe, high-performing operations.
• Complete reports to ensure traceability of interventions and turbine performance.
