Vestas in France is seeking a skilled service operator to optimize wind farms throughout their life cycle, ensuring maximum turbine availability.

You will work in pairs reporting to the Area Supervisor, performing inspections and field maintenance across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. This role requires mobility, safety compliance and collaboration with technicians, planners and storekeepers on Vestas sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1/2, BTEC First Diploma or high-school degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics) desired.
• Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack.
• Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.
• Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met
