OECD in Paris is seeking a Data and Knowledge Scientist to contribute to the Well-being Data Insights and Policy Practice Unit. You will design data pipelines, manage quarterly updates, and develop interactive visualisations for policy impact.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in Economics/Statistics/Data Science and at least four years' applied policy research or data science experience, with proficiency in R or JavaScript and a strong quantitative focus.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, data science, or related field.
• At least four years of applied policy research or data science experience.
• Experience with econometric analysis and microdata.
• Proven ability to develop scalable data infrastructure.
• Well-being topics knowledge is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop automated data pipelines for well-being database.
• Maintain quarterly updates for How’s Life? and Better Life Index.
• Create data visualisations to support policy impact.
• Collaborate with WISE team and OECD communications.
• Provide training on data science practices to the WISE team.
• Analyze well-being outcomes and present findings to stakeholders.

Connaissances

Strong drafting skills in English

R (preferred) or similar statistical

Data visualization and web development

AI-assisted data analysis familiarity

English/French languages knowledge

Formation

Advanced university degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
