Météo-France seeks a public weather and climate expert to join a multi-site organization in France. You will contribute to safety through research, risk analysis, and effective communication about weather and climate phenomena.

The role emphasizes UX of information like avalanche bulletins, collaboration with forecasters, and dissemination of findings across teams. The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, strong survey and qualitative-analysis skills, and an ability to work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ergonomics, psychology, sociology, risk geography, information and communication sciences or related discipline.
• Strong survey method skills: design and administration of questionnaires, interviews, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building contacts in the field.
• Interest in interdisciplinary work between snow science and the humanities and social sciences.
• Good writing and oral presentation skills.
