Job summary

Sorontar in Paris is seeking a Weapon Architect to lead the architecture across weapons programs. You will work with the product and system teams to trade off design choices, run studies, and ensure architectures succeed through tests.

We value experience as an architect or systems engineer on missiles, drones, aircraft or space vehicles, and you will recruit future weapon architects as the company grows. The role is full-time and on-site with a competitive salary between €80,000 and €120,000

Qualifications

• Architect or systems engineer on missiles, drones, aircraft or space vehicles.
• Ability to run a trade study and build mass, power and cost budgets.
• Able to explain architecture to engineers and customers; fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as Weapon Architect for each product and guide trade-offs with product and system teams.
• Follow architecture through tests and adjust after each test.
• Recruit weapon architects for each product as the company grows.
• Be the go-to person for data or ideas for trade-offs across teams.
