KBR is seeking a Laboratory Analyst (Chemist) to conduct water quality monitoring, perform laboratory tests, and manage data to support safe water supply, treatment, and distribution.

You will work under QA/QC protocols, participate in audits, and prepare reagents while maintaining a well-organized lab. Fluent English required; 1–2 years preferred; overseas medical screening required.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting coliform, nitrate, and nitrite testing for FFHC water systems.
• Proficient with sample collection, preparation, data review, reporting, and instrument maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass overseas medical screening and maintain good health.
• Valid driver’s license; able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Completion of Environmental Quality Sampling training (EQS) from Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School (CECOS) under ISEERB standards.

Responsabilités

• Water quality monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Sample, analyze, and report well water levels and quality.
• Monitor nanofiltration and GAC processes for steady operation.
• Test treated water for required quality standards.
• Maintain water quality data records for audits.
• Perform microbiological and nitrate/nitrite compliance sampling.
• Prepare reagents and perform a variety of chemical tests.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory and manage supplies.
