CHEM Group is a chemical processing company currently seeking a 2nd shift Chemical Lab Technician. The role involves performing laboratory tests to support quality assurance, new product development, and process improvements.

You will prepare standards, collect samples, and operate standard lab equipment while maintaining accurate records and safety compliance. The position requires 2–4 years of relevant experience or an associate degree, proficient English communication, and proficiency with

Qualifications

2–4 years of relevant experience or associate degree in chemistry or equivalent field.
Excellent communications skills in both spoken and written English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Overtime may be required during peak seasons or deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Flexibility to work in a small company atmosphere.

Responsabilités

Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable, precise data for QA, NPD, and process improvement.
Carry out routine tasks following strict methodologies for analysis.
Prepare chemical standards and collect/send samples for analysis.
Operate and maintain standard lab equipment (titrators, pH meters, colorimeters, viscometers, GC).
Ensure the lab is well-stocked, equipped, and organized.
Maintain laboratory records and calibration data.
