Crossing Hurdles seeks a skilled voice analyst to evaluate short speech recordings and deliver precise written assessments using professional terminology. The role is remote and contract-based, requiring careful attention to vocal traits and delivery quality.

You will identify age, gender, accent, vocal quality, resonance, phonation, pitch, and tempo, assess emotional tone and articulation, and note room sound and recording environment quality.

Qualifications

• Professional background in voice acting or coaching.
• Strong understanding of speech analysis and prosody.
• Experience with evaluating recording quality and acoustic environments.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher).

• Deliver observations in clear, detailed written reports, using consistent technical language to facilitate AI model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate asynchronously via digital platforms, providing objective, high‑quality input to enhance voice and speech systems.

Requirements

• Professional background in voice acting, voice coaching, dialect coaching, vocal pedagogy, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of speech analysis, prosody, intonation, phonetics, accent and dialect variation, and vocal quality assessment.
• Experience with audio or sound engineering, especially in evaluating recording quality and acoustic environments.
• Familiarity with technical vocal concepts such as resonance, placement, and breath control.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher); native proficiency in any language is welcome.
