Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a French-speaking voice actor for AI training on a fully remote, hourly contract basis. You will record high-quality French samples, evaluate AI outputs for naturalness, and provide actionable feedback to improve speech quality.

Ideal candidates are native or near-native in French with prior voice work and their own quiet home studio. Remote, flexible scheduling and freelance autonomy are offered.

About The Role

• Record high-quality French voice samples from provided scripts and prompts, delivering clear and expressive performances
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to help improve the quality of AI-generated speech
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and authentic natural delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

• Fluent in French — native or near-native speaker
• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar professional voice work
• Owner of a high-quality microphone and access to a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver consistent, expressive, and engaging vocal performances across a range of styles and tones
• Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, cadence, register, and clarity in speech
• No prior AI or tech experience required

• Experience with broadcast, animation, e-learning, or commercial voice-over
• Familiarity with audio recording and editing software (DAWs, etc.)
• Awareness of regional French variations — European, Canadian, African, or otherwise
• Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
