Description du poste
Overview

Video Editor (EU) role at Maneuver Marketing. Build, scale & operate leading DTC brands alongside A-players. Our vision is to be a driving force of positive change to the health of everyday consumers, providing conscious, high-quality & innovative supplement products.

This is the next stage of our growth. You’ll shape how our brands connect & sell to audiences through content ads. Source, clip, create and edit compelling, high-converting video ad content with AGI & other footage/Adobe/SaaS tools. From quick-turnaround social ads to longer-form VSLs/Streams, you’ll work on multiple ongoing projects to refine & execute our playbooks. Clippers, performance marketers with editing backgrounds, curators, creators, and editorial professionals with Premiere Pro/CapCut backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

If you’re obsessed with creating high-performing ads, are a “best ideas first” person, workflow-quality oriented, have a stacked prompt library, and high-converting storyboards, let’s chat!

What You’ll Do
  • Post-Production Ads & Content Assembly: Source and organize raw footage for multiple brands and campaigns; cut and sequence video for narrative, rhythm, and platform behavior (scroll-stopping, thumb-stopping, high retention); apply sound design (music, VO, audio cleanup, mixing); manage output for all formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5) with speed and quality control; collaborate with the in-house tech team to improve efficiency via automation or internal tools; support DAM tagging, file naming, and asset versioning workflows.
  • Proven Ad Format Engineering: Partner with Creative Strategists to prototype new ad formats and hook systems; build ad nests with tight pacing, rhythmic editing, and clear retention markers; test hypotheses across variations (hooks, creators, audios, retention devices, visuals); iterate using performance data (CTR, Thumbstop, Watch-Through, ROAS); document learnings for reuse across SKUs and campaigns.
  • Cross Functional Application: Develop short-form and long-form content; adapt content to channel best practices (Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Amazon); ensure brand voice, messaging, and CTA alignment across customer journey stages; review performance data to refine structure and formats; balance creativity with commercial clarity (benefits, mechanisms, proof).
  • Motion Graphics & Visual Design: Design MOGRTs and reusable AE templates; integrate kinetic typography, lower thirds, and product animations for emotional lift; elevate narrative flow with transitions and motion design accents; maintain consistent visual language and collaborate with the design team to sync graphic systems across brands.
  • Content Performance & Engagement: Track CTR, VTR, and engagement metrics; link creative decisions to measurable outcomes (ROAS, CPA, conversions); identify creative drivers of success; collaborate with Creative Strategists to interpret performance data and iterate; benchmark content against previous iterations and competitors.
  • Efficiency & Workflow Management: Deliver quick turnarounds; maintain organized project structures; handle multiple projects with consistent quality; ensure smooth hand-offs between creative, media, and brand teams; use automation and templates to scale editing and versioning; document workflows for repeatable execution.
What You Bring
  • 3 to 5 years of video editing experience with DTC brands or performance marketing agencies (health & wellness, beauty, skincare, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with video editing/motion design software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, Runway ML, ElevenLabs, After Effects, MOGRT templates, etc.).
  • Comfortable working within cross-functional project or automation systems (e.g., Asana, Notion, Zapier, frame,.io).
  • Performance-oriented: focus on what drives conversion, engagement, or scroll-stopping impact (Hook, CTA).
  • Familiarity with direct response, native, content marketing strategies and social media advertising.
  • Strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling principles; experience with color correction and grading, versioning and output optimization; understanding of different video formats.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment; excellent communication and adaptability to changing project needs.
