Airbus Operations SAS seeks a V&V Electronic Engineer to join the Avionics & Simulation Products team in Toulouse. You will drive integration, verification and validation of flight control computers and avionics equipment to meet DO-178C/DO-254 and ARP4754A standards.

Requirements include 5+ years in IVV, a engineering degree in electronics/embedded systems, and strong Python, LabVIEW and C++ skills. English proficiency and security eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in integration, verification and validation of avionics systems/equipment.
• Academic background in Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems or Aeronautics.
• Technical expertise in V&V methodologies, boards, FPGAs and buses (ARINC 429, AFDX, MIL-STD-1553).
• Proficiency with Python, LabVIEW and C++, and knowledge of aeronautical standards (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A).
• Strong teamwork, analytical skills and professional English proficiency.

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a V&V Electronic Engineer (m/f) to join our Avionics & Simulation Products department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing critical avionics equipment and simulators. As part of the IVV team, you will be involved in the integration, verification, and validation of flight control computers aiming at ensuring full compliance with specifications and aeronautical standards.

Your challenges:

Define, lead, and execute the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) strategy for flight control computers and avionics equipment. Design, develop, and maintain verification means and test environments (test benches, simulators). Write procedures, execute tests (boards and FPGAs), and analyze anomalies in collaboration with development teams. Ensure requirement traceability throughout the lifecycle and compliance with aeronautical standards (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A). Report compliance status and environmental qualification results to relevant stakeholders.

Your boarding pass:

At least 5 years of significant professional experience in integration, verification, and validation of avionics systems/equipment. Academic background in Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Aeronautics, or a related field. Technical expertise in V&V methodologies (boards, FPGAs, equipment), high-speed design, and communication buses (ARINC 429, AFDX, MIL-STD-1553). Proficiency in testing, simulation, and programming tools (Python, LabVIEW, C++), laboratory instruments, and aeronautical standards (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A). Strong teamwork, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills, curiosity, excellent communication, and technical English proficiency. This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
