Korelya Capital in Paris is seeking a motivated student for a 6-month internship with the Venture Capital team starting in October 2026. You will assist across dealflow, sourcing startups, and due diligence, helping prepare investment materials and draft questions for management.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating tech startups and market dynamics.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate research findings into compelling PowerPoint presentations.
• Autonomous, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced VC environment.
• Familiarity with Claude Code or Gen-AI tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assess hundreds of tech businesses monthly from a tech and business point of view.
• Evaluate product and tech aspects of potential investees.
• Draft questions for management teams of startups.
• Investigate market sector dynamics for potential investments.
• Prepare investment materials to support recommendations.
• Assist due diligence and closing processes (due diligence meetings, term sheet, drafting memos, etc.).
• Review business plans and models.

Korelya Capital is looking for a highly motivated and talented student to join its Venture Capital team for a 6-month internship in its offices in Paris, starting in October 2026.

Korelya Capital is a venture capital fund with c. €850m in assets under management, that invests in technology companies all across Europe. Korelya Capital’s portfolio already includes companies such as Bolt, Glovo, Ledger, Vestiaire Collective.

Korelya Capital’s specificity is to have strong ties in Asia and specifically in South Korea and Japan. 60% of our portfolio companies already operate in Asia and leverage Korelya’s extensive network.

Mission

You will assist Korelya Venture Capital team in many aspects of the work at a VC firm.

Dealflow:

• Give us your opinion on hundreds of tech businesses every month, especially from a technological and business point of view
• Evaluate product and tech
• Draft list of questions for the management of startup companies
• Investigate market sector dynamics for potential investee businesses
• Prepare investment materials to support investment recommendations
• Assist due diligence and closing processes (due diligence meetings, term sheet, negotiation, investment memorandum drafting etc.)
• Review business plans

Sourcing startups:

• Screen new European markets, be faster than the other VCs in order to find hidden champions
• Dig deep into digital topics and help with research
• Test technological products, mobile apps and Internet services
• Network and meet entrepreneurs

What we are looking for:

• Prior internship experience at a Tier-1 investment bank, private equity, venture capital, consulting firm, or a leading start-up/tech company highly valued
• Genuinely interested in technology and startups
• Strong analytical skills
• Reliable, hard-working and autonomous
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills with capacity and experience to translate research findings into compelling PowerPoint presentations
• Display a professional attitude and the highest levels of ethics, integrity and confidentiality in business dealings
• Claude Code / proficiency in Gen-AI tools is a plus : )
• Fluent in English and French
