The Exploration Company is seeking an Vacuum Hotfire Test Stand Engineer to lead the design, assembly, and operation of a propulsion test facility for legacy propellants. You will translate test needs into facility requirements and manage integration with suppliers and internal teams.

You will develop instrumentation, safety procedures, and data acquisition for hot-fire testing, supporting commissioning, acceptance testing, and in-service activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with propulsion test benches, preferably with storable/legacy propellants.
• Strong background in fluid systems, pressurized systems, and ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of safety-critical systems, industrial automation, and test operations.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design of Test Facility: translate propulsion test needs into facility and ground support requirements.
• Assembly & Integration: manage suppliers, support commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Safety & Operation: conduct hazard analyses and develop test procedures; support operational readiness.
• Interface with internal teams and external partners to ensure safe, effective testing.
