Job summary

Leybold, a brand within Atlas Copco Group, seeks a Technicien SAV itinérant Sud-Ouest to repair and maintain vacuum equipment at customer sites. The role is home-based around Toulouse with frequent regional travel.

The successful candidate will install, commission, train customers, and provide on-site or remote technical support, while driving service growth and maintaining strong customer relationships across France.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Technical BTS diploma in Industrial Maintenance is required.
• Fluent in French; English comprehension (reading/writing).
• Proficient in computer tools; knowledge of mechanics and electromechanics.
• Vacuum technologies knowledge is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain vacuum equipment at customer sites.
• Install and commission equipment at customer locations.
• Provide technical support via phone or on-site.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and parts replacement.
• Carry out on-site commissioning and training of distributors and customers.
• Identify opportunities for service and equipment sales; generate leads for the sales team.
• Travel frequently within the region and occasionally across France.
