Job summary

IXO Inc. is seeking a tax content reviewer to translate tax statutes into precise review criteria and test AI interpretations for law compliance.

You will read state and federal provisions, develop independent checklists, and score interpretations against statutory text with attention to thresholds and definitions. You will craft concrete failure examples and highlight ambiguities through reproducible evaluations.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license or Chartered Accountant designation, or experience as a US tax attorney.
• Ability to interpret tax statutes and regulations beyond return preparation.
• Comfort with legal logic and attention to exceptions and edge cases.
• Clear, precise writing and ability to submit structured feedback through a digital interface.

Responsibilities

• Read sales-and-use-tax provisions across US states and occasional federal provisions.
• Write independent checklists of statutory requirements and assign severity by legal significance.
• Score formal interpretations against the text, including thresholds, AND/OR logic, defined terms and exceptions.
• Create self-contained failure examples with explicit facts, dates, amounts and expected results.
• Flag genuine ambiguity and submit structured, reproducible written evaluations.
