Körber is seeking a UI software engineer to develop and customize operator interfaces for packaging machinery. You will design UIs with AlphaGate A-VIS, configure PLC communications, and ensure FAT readiness while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

You will also integrate third-party equipment, debug programs with automation teammates, and review manuals to reduce support calls. International travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience programming operator/UI
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Proficient in design patterns, MVC, and debugging
• Strong knowledge of Java, Swing UI
• Familiar with Git, Jira, NetBeans IDE; plus
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally up to 10%

• Develop a machine UI to control packaging machinery per customer specs
• Design OI/UI using AlphaGate A-VIS
• Configure PLC and plant software interfaces
• Customize operator interface for customer needs
• Debug and prepare UI for FAT
• Interact with customers professionally
