Big Freight Systems Inc. is seeking experienced truck drivers to join our Canada-wide operations. You will transport goods across North America, requiring strong English communication and a customer-service mindset.

Work in a multicultural team with paid overtime, safety bonuses, referral programs, and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of long-haul driving in the past five years, a Canadian-equivalent secondary education, and a clean criminal record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of continuous and verifiable long-haul driving experience in the past five years.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• French is a plus

Qualifications

• Excellent attitude
• Completed secondary school (Canadian equivalency)
• Minimum 3 years of continuous and verifiable documented work experience as a long-haul truck driver in the past five years.
• Good English level (ability to speak, read and write English)
• French is a plus
• Clear criminal record
• Specific Skills: Operate and drive articulated trucks to transport goods and materials / Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment / Drive single or as part of a two-person team or convoy / Perform preventive maintenance /Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes / Load and unload goods / Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle / Receive and relay information to central dispatch / Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
