Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Product Analyst to join the Treasury & Capital Markets Innovation team. You will bridge business needs with technical execution, documenting product requirements, and collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to shape software solutions for financial institutions.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, translating them into specs, supporting agile development, and ensuring quality through validation and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, CS, Financial Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Product Analyst or in a similar role within the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments, including FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Treasury products.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Requirements Gathering & Analysis: research market trends, gather and document business requirements including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for development teams; collaborate with developers to ensure features are designed and implemented effectively.
• Define test plans, validate features, and track defects with QA; support the development team to resolve issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate progress, and present demos to internal and external audiences.
• Analyze product performance and propose new features and enhancements.
