Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Field Engineer to support the Electrical Assistant and Project Manager on large utility-scale solar projects. You will help manage contract administration, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and field coordination across multiple sites.

This full-time exempt role requires a Bachelor's degree and 6 months to 1 year solar or construction project experience, with strong communication and basic finance skills. Extensive travel across multi-state sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline
• Six months to one-year minimum Solar or full-time experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer in the construction industry
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with construction project management applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with owners' representatives, A/E team, and agencies
• Basic finance skills are required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project start-up activities including review of owner contracts and startup planning
• Expedite materials by establishing submittal logs and delivery schedules
• Coordinate construction activities and schedule updates with Superintendents and subcontractors
• Assist with contract administration, change orders, and RFI processes
• Track costs and assist with progress reporting and status updates
