Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technician to install, test, and commission automated medication dispensing hardware across healthcare facilities. The role involves extensive travel locally, regionally, and nationally, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 16–30 hours per week, plus travel time.

The position requires 1+ year of electronics/hardware/software experience, bilingual English/French, and the ability to work with engineers and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Baccalauréat diplôme required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and French required.
• Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; installing and configuring hardware.
• Review of schematics/drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Carry out pre-assembly, building, and installation of conveyors, automated dispensers & related equipment.
• Installation of pneumatic devices, RFID readers and sensors throughout conveyor system.
• Carry out commissioning of electronic/electrical systems and structured cabling installation.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid.
