Civil Project Manager

My client has a unique opportunity for a civil/highway engineer with background in DOT and civil transportation. This office specializes in roadway, bridges, traffic engineering, water and wastewater services, and public involvement. This person will play a big role in the growth of the Massachusetts operations, and should be comfortable leading business development efforts as well as executing project work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on transportation projects
• Create and execute project work plans
• Manage project teams, accountable for budget and schedule
• Coordinate with all disciplines internally and externally with subconsultants
• Manage and mentor junior staff
• Contribute to Division strategic growth initiatives
• Champion relationships with key clients, including MassDOT
• Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
• Ability to identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits
• Collaborate on regional growth strategy
• Leadership track potential

Qualifications

• BSCE or related discipline
• Must have PE
• Minimum of 10 years of design experience including managing projects
• Experience working on DOT projects
• A track record of adhering to design budgets and project schedules
• Excellent communication and client relation skills
