Barclays in Paris is seeking a Transaction Banking Account Manager to ensure timely client activity across PFL products (Payment, FX, Liquidity). You will coordinate with TB Sales, Client Service, Onboarding/Implementation, and Relationship Directors to align pricing and service delivery.

The role emphasizes end-to-end onboarding, managing a client portfolio, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive client success and revenue growth.

Join Barclays as a Transaction Banking Account Manager.

The Transaction Banking Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring client related activity is completely in a timely manner for all PFL Products (Payment, FX, Liquidity) Client activity includes, but is not limited to, managing product requests onto the Transaction Banking product suite, ensuring client pricing aligns with agreed terms, monitoring and refresh of client profiles as required, and working closely with internal stakeholders such as Transaction Banking Sales Specialists, Client Service, Onboarding/Implementation, and Relationship Directors/Associate Bankers.

To be successful as a Transaction Banking Account Manager, you should have:

  • Transaction Banking Cash Product and Services
  • Understanding of end-to-end client and product onboarding
  • Experience in client facing roles & managing a portfolio of clients

  • Financial Services experience
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks in a timely manner, proactively engaging internal stakeholders, and comfortable with escalating issues appropriately

This role is located in Paris.

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

Minimum Salary: €50,000

The minimum salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and typically represents the lowest level of pay for this role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Barclays employees are also eligible for a suite of competitive country-specific benefits.

This position is eligible for an incentive award.

Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities
  • Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
  • Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
  • Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
  • Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy.
  • Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
