Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead renewal and improvements of railway infrastructure in Bordeaux region. You will orchestrate projects across technical, operational and admin aspects, develop schedules, allocate resources and manage internal works with external contractors.

You will draft specifications with experts and procurement, oversee construction to commissioning, monitor contracts and support maintenance, contributing to asset renewal strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (BAC+5) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in project management within railway infrastructure and/or urban transport.
• Experience managing works contracts and service contracts preferred.
• Autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, proactive, rigorous, service oriented.
• Excellent written communication and strong interpersonal skills with teams.
• Proficient with IT tools and project management software; Lean knowledge.
• Valid Category B driving license.

Overview

Lead projects for the renewal and improvement of infrastructure. Prepare projects across all aspects (technical, operational and administrative). Develop project schedules and plan resources. Manage internal infrastructure projects. Prepare or contribute to tender documentation for external contractors. Organize and facilitate project working groups. Oversee operations during the construction phase through to commissioning. Draft, together with experts and Procurement, the technical specifications for subcontracting contracts. Define technical selection criteria. Monitor contractual compliance and manage contract performance. Support maintenance teams during major operations. Contribute to Asset Management activities. Propose asset renewal strategies.

Requirements

• Master\'s degree (equivalent to French "Ingénieur" BAC+5) in Civil Engineering, Railway Infrastructure, Urban Transport or equivalent
• Proven experience in project management within railway infrastructure and/or urban transport
• Ideally, experience managing works contracts and service contracts
• Autonomy, strong analytical and synthesis skills, proactive approach, availability, rigor, strong service orientation, team spirit and investigative mindset
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with operational maintenance teams, support functions and external providers
• Proficient with IT tools and project management software
• Knowledge of Lean continuous improvement tools
• Valid Category B driving license (car) required
