You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of Alstom’s innovative transportation solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrial, sourcing, validation), collaborate with external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of planning and piloting RAMS activities for projects and programs, but also assessing and demonstrating the safety and reliability of Alstom products in line with global standards.
Planning and leading the RAMS activities and deliverables for assigned projects/programs in compliance with applicable instructions, processes, and customer requirements.
Evaluating RAMS activities during the tender phase to assess product capability and associated risks, and to estimate required budgets.
Ensuring the adequacy of RAMS deliverables and fostering their acceptance by customers and independent parties (e.g., ISA, NoBo, DeBo).
Assessing and demonstrating the achieved safety level of Alstom products and ensuring compliance with Alstom’s Safety policies and instructions.
Continuously evaluating product reliability performance and implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Defining and transferring safety requirements to manage railway safety risks and ensuring their closure.
Providing support to stakeholders in defining and implementing measures to meet safety and reliability objectives.
Acting as the primary point of contact for RAMS matters and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Performing safety and reliability design reviews as per project/program schedules.
Supporting the issuance of Safety Authorizations by providing necessary inputs.
Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to meet project milestones and quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.
Adopting a product-oriented mindset to enhance RAMS performance and contribute to technical repository maintenance.

Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience or understanding of RAMS activities in large‑scale projects or programs.
Knowledge of safety and reliability standards and processes.
Familiarity with railway safety risks and mitigation strategies.
A relevant certification in safety or reliability engineering.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
