Job summary

Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse is seeking a Software Specialist – Methods and Tools to join the Avionics Software department. You will contribute to the avionics software production system for airborne and ground products, operating under DO178 and DO330 constraints. The role includes developing and maintaining tools, deploying, training users, and collaborating with subcontractors. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Ada.
• Systems knowledge: Linux and Windows Embedded real-time software development (DO178, DO330).
• Excellent English and French language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the avionics software production system for airborne and ground products within certified environments.
• Study, develop, qualify, deploy and maintain the software factory tools and methodologies.
• Provide user training and associated support activities.
• Value customer requirements and propose reusable solutions.
• Automate and optimize software development phases.
• Manage subcontracting activities and report to an agile manager.
