Electrify is seeking a talented Thumbnail Designer for The Rundown, a leading AI news channel. You will design and publish high-performing thumbnails, titles and descriptions across YouTube and social channels, including content for the CEO’s personal brand, partnering with media and content teams to shape visual storytelling.

You will use data-driven decisions, test ideas, maintain brand consistency, and deliver polished visuals on a fast-paced, remote-first team.

• Exceptional eye for design with experience creating high-performing digital content.
• Excellent copywriting skills and English proficiency, with the ability to write compelling titles and descriptions.
• Experience designing and A/B testing YouTube thumbnails for videos achieving 100k+ views.
• Strong understanding of performance analytics with a passion for testing, learning and continuous optimisation.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

As a Thumbnail Designer at The Rundown, you’ll be responsible for designing and publishing high-performing thumbnails, titles and descriptions across The Rundown’s video and social channels, including content for our CEO’s personal brand.

Working closely with our media and content teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping how millions of people experience AI news and education through engaging visual storytelling, data-driven creative decisions and consistent brand execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design 2–3 high-performing, A/B tested thumbnails every weekday for The Rundown’s YouTube and social media channels.
• Write engaging, SEO-optimised titles and descriptions that maximise clarity and audience engagement.
