Jobtailor is seeking an engineering-design professional in France to assist with developing thermal-system concepts and cooling solutions for Data Center environments. You will translate early-stage concepts into clear 2D drawings and 3D models and create professional models for customer communications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, producing accurate design documentation, and supporting technical evaluations and customer discussions.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or equivalent technical education.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in system, product, equipment, or installation design.
• Good understanding of HVAC, air conditioning, thermal systems, or industrial cooling applications.
• Ability to work with engineers on early-stage concepts and translate inputs into visual design deliverables.
• Good communication skills and ability to produce clear design documentation for internal and customer-facing purposes.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools.
• Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
• Experience with industrial product design, mechanical layouts, piping layouts, or equipment integration would be an advantage.

• Assist engineers in creating, developing, and formalizing new thermal-system concepts and cooling solutions.
• Transform preliminary ideas and technical requirements into clear 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Create professional models and layouts for customer communication.
• Prepare drawings and models for inclusion in Data Center design environments.
• Support technical evaluations, customer discussions, and integration into Data Center models.
• Contribute to evaluating technical concepts proposed by the engineering team.
• Ensure design outputs are accurate, understandable, and suitable for customer communication and internal engineering reviews.
