Thermal Designer Engineer – Spring, TX

An employer in Spring, TX is seeking a Thermal Designer Engineer to join their team. He or she will be joining the Commercial Architecture team specifically focusing on Power and Platform Architecture. The Thermal Designer Engineer will work alongside other engineers to help design engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware, electronic enclosures and production tooling based on existing guidelines/practices. He or she will develop and implement the testing parameters for both new and existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, safety, reliability, etc. The Engineer will work alongside other mechanical and electrical engineers to develop optimum platform design architecture in addition to new proof of concept ideas using latest technologies based on marketing requirements. This role is onsite at their Spring, TX location 3 days a week and will have an hourly pay range of $45–$65/hr based on experience.
