Job summary

ThrustMe is seeking a Test and Qualification Engineer to design and run qualification tests for space propulsion hardware in Verrières-le-Buisson. You will develop test setups, automate measurements, and ensure compliance under vacuum, vibration and thermal conditions.

Within the Innovation Team you will solve open problems, interpret results to improve designs, and transfer validated test methods into production in collaboration with product engineers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience testing complex equipment under vacuum.
• Experience planning and conducting space hardware qualification campaigns (vibration, shock, thermal cycling).
• Proficiency in instrumentation, measurement automation and data analysis.
• Ability to write test procedures and reports, define pass/fail criteria and assess measurement uncertainty.
• Evidence of independently solving unfamiliar engineering problems and taking responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document development and qualification tests, defining test conditions and pass/fail criteria.
• Develop test setups, select instrumentation and automate measurements and data acquisition.
• Prepare prototypes for testing, investigate failures and troubleshoot hardware with design engineers.
• Analyze test data and measurement uncertainty, report results against requirements.
• Maintain vacuum facilities and test equipment, ensuring instruments are calibrated and ready for use.
• Work with Product Team to transfer validated test methods and results into production.
