cozycozy is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to keep the platform reliable across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android while ensuring new features meet high quality standards.

You will work with Product, Design and Engineering daily to plan, execute, and improve test strategies, balancing release cadence with quality to power millions of user searches.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of QA experience in a product company (B2C is a big advantage).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira or equivalent).
• Bonus: experience with test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Appium or similar).

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day reliability: Monitor platform quality across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android.
• Detect and escape regressions before users do.
• Own bug tracking from identification to resolution.
• Be the first line of defense when something breaks in production.
• Release quality: Define and execute test plans (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Lead validation phases before each release; make pragmatic quality trade-offs; ensure consistent quality across platforms and markets.
• Continuous improvement: Improve QA processes; contribute to test automation on web and mobile; track quality metrics.
• Be a user-first advocate in product discussions; make quality visible to leadership.

About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced product environment.

Your job is twofold: keep the platform running reliably every day, and ensure every feature we ship meets a high quality bar. Both matter equally, and you'll own both.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering on a daily basis.

Your mission

Your role will be structured across 3 key areas:

Day-to-day reliability

• Monitor platform quality across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android
• Detect and escape regressions before users do
• Own bug tracking from identification to resolution
• Be the first line of defense when something breaks in production

Release quality

• Define and execute test plans (functional, regression, exploratory)
• Lead validation phases before each release
• Make pragmatic quality trade-offs under time pressure
• Ensure consistent quality across all platforms and markets

Continuous improvement

• Improve QA processes
• Contribute to test automation on web and mobile
• Help define and track quality metrics (defect rate, coverage, release quality)
• Be a user-first advocate in every product discussion
• Make quality visible and measurable for Product and leadership
• 2-4 years of QA experience in a product company (B2C is a big advantage)
• Comfortable managing both ongoing platform quality and new feature validation simultaneously
• At ease with high release frequency and shifting priorities
• Able to test and make decisions without always having full spec documentation
• Strong ownership mindset — you notice problems and act on them
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira or equivalent)
• Bonus: experience with test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Appium or similar)

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with AI/ML for testing processes and test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Appium…) is a plus
• Experience in high-traffic consumer products (marketplace, travel, e-commerce) in fast-growing or scale-up environments is a plus
