ARTURIA is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing environments for its hardware and software products. You will develop test benches and tooling, automate unit through stress tests, and integrate tools into CI pipelines across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux, with Docker-based environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in Python and test bench development with test frameworks.
• Experience in automated test development for embedded systems.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab or Jenkins; cross‑platform environments (Windows, Mac, Linux, Docker).
• BI tools such as Metabase or Grafana are a plus.

Job Description

The Software Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated testing environments and tools for Arturia's hardware and software products. By combining technical expertise, automation, and methodology, this role contributes to the quality excellence of our products, ensuring their reliability, functional coverage, and development cycle efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the testing needs of R&D teams and develop specifications for the corresponding tools.
• Design and develop automated test environments (test benches, frameworks and tooling).
• Develop automation for unit, functional, integration, stress and endurance tests.
• Integrate measurement equipment (switches, programmable power supplies, audio analyzers, MIDI/USB interfaces) into test environments.
• Apply established coding, documentation and testing practice standards.
• Ensure the quality, maintainability and reusability of test tool code.
• Configure test environments according to established specifications.
• Integrate test tools into continuous integration pipelines.
• Contribute to sharing test resources across product lines.
• Write technical specifications and documentation for test environments.
• Train R&D teams on the use of automated test environments.
• Provide support to teams and resolve issues related to test tools.
• Conduct technology watch and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Computer Science/Instrumentation or Master in Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience
• Proficiency in the technical stack: Python (UV, poetry)
• Demonstrated expertise in test bench development using Python and test frameworks
• Proven experience in automated test development for embedded systems
• CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins)
• Cross platform environment (Windows, Mac, Linux, Docker)
• BI (Metabase, Grafana)

Permanent contract

Montbonnot-Saint-Martin (near Grenoble, France), accessible by bus.
