Job summary

Trane Technologies in France is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our rental fleet. The role involves on-site maintenance and testing of cooling equipment at customer locations, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a refrigeration/HVAC background, knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and holds a Category 1 refrigerant handling certificate plus a valid driving license. You are analytical, autonomous, responsible and organized.

Qualifications

• Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Energy or Building Engineering is required.
• F-gases handling certificate Category 1 and a valid B driving license are required.
• Good knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical, hydraulic and airflow systems.
• Passion for building technology and willingness to join a manufacturer.
• Analytical mindset with autonomy, responsibility and organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-level maintenance of equipment (cleaning, filter, electrical checks, visual checks).
• Conduct machine tests on test benches.
• Inspect accessories and identify parts to replace; produce weekly reports.
• Prepare equipment for specific activities (ice rinks, site-specific work).
• Identify and propose hardware improvements to develop activities.
• Coordinate activities with Location team and subcontractors on site.

Where Is The Work

Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Pour soutenir notre croissance et garantir l’excellence de notre service client, nous recrutons un(e) Technicien(e) Frigoriste pour notre parc Location.

Rattaché(e) au Responsable d’équipe, vos missions seront les suivantes :

• Réaliser le premier niveau de maintenance des équipements (nettoyage machine, nettoyage filtre eau, contrôle des connexions électriques, contrôle visuel des liaisons frigorifiques, reprise de peinture sur châssis, etc.),
• Réaliser des contrôles de fonctionnement machines sur banc d’essai,
• Contrôler les accessoires et identifier le matériel à remplacer et éventuels travaux à prévoir (rapport hebdomadaire),
• Préparations des équipements pour les affaires spécifiques liées à l’activité (patinoires, chantiers spécifiques),
• Identifier et proposer des améliorations matérielles pour le développement de l’activité,
• Coordonner les activités avec les membres de l’équipe Location et les différents sous-traitant pouvant être présents sur parc.

Votre Profil

• Vous êtes diplômé(e) en Froid et Climatisation, Energie ou Génie climatique,
• Vous avez de bonnes connaissances dans le domaine du froid, de la gestion des applications de climatisation, de l’électricité, des réseaux hydrauliques et aérauliques,
• Vous êtes titulaire de l’attestation d'aptitude à la manipulation des fluides frigorigènes - catégorie 1, et du permis B,
• Vous êtes passionné(e) par le génie climatique et souhaitez rejoindre un constructeur,
• Vous êtes doté(e) d'un bon esprit d'analyse, vous êtes autonome, responsable et organisé(e).
