Air Liquide France Industrie is seeking an Exploitation operator to supervise and optimize hydrogen production units during the Normand’Hy project. You will ensure safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across Port-Jérôme, Gonfreville and the Normand’Hy installation.

The role requires BAC +2 technique with BTS CIRA, 5+ years of industry experience, and strong collaboration with site teams; English is needed for supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• BAC +2 in technique, ideally BTS CIRA.
• 5+ years of exploitation experience in chemical/petrochemical industries.
• Experience in electricity, instrumentation or process control is a plus.
• Ability to read PFD and P&ID drawings and related documents.
• Strong emphasis on safety and teamwork; English skills required for supplier dialogue.

Responsabilités

• Be the site safety guarantor and ensure proper operation of units.
• Conduct rounds to guarantee safety, quality and reliability of supply.
• Log deviations in the digital post logs and act on findings.
• Operate production devices and hydrogen network to meet demand while maximizing output.
• Collaborate with SIO centre teams for production allocation during startup.
• Participate in unit startups and respond to production incidents with local maintenance and national experts.
• Propose improvements to stabilize, automate and optimize units.
• Prepare work permits and ensure safe, quality access for maintenance.
• Maintain technical dossiers, drawings, and equipment plans.
