PRIMARY PURPOSE:
- To be responsible for installation and maintenance of all fire alarm systems. Conduct annual fire alarm system inspections..
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Possess a current State of Texas Fire Alarm Technician license (required)
- Licensed Fire Alarm Technician will receive additional compensation above minimum rate for confirmation of current/active fire alarm license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- The ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems
- Effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE:
- Direct experience in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Direct experience in the installation and servicing of Notifier and Firelite equipment
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Provide technical assistance related to fire alarm systems issues
- Work with district administrators to ensure employees receive need support and training
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Seeing close work such as typed or handwritten material
