Swan is seeking a talented, fast-moving Technical Writer to join our Documentation team on a freelance basis. You’ll own content across user guides, help centre articles, and UI copy, in a docs-as-code workflow.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Implementation to ensure accuracy and high quality content. We value crisp, accessible writing and global localisation, with a proactive, growth-minded approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience.
• Fluency with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown/MDX).
• Strong editorial eye, self-editing, and peer-review skills.
• Fast-paced environment; proactive in gathering feedback.
• Ability to learn and explain moderately complex technical concepts.
• Advocate for accessibility and global localisation in content creation.
• Growth mindset and reliable team contributor.

Responsabilités

• Docs-as-code production and migration in Git/MDX workflows.
• Create clear, accurate content for complex features (guides, help articles, UI copy).
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflow while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Implementation teams.
• Improve content processes with Zendesk, CMS and docs-as-code tools.
• Manage lifecycle of content assets from creation to publication and track performance.
