IDEMIA Public Security in Osny (Île-de-France) seeks a Technical Project Manager for Travel & Transport Solutions. Hybrid work with 2 days remote weekly, frequent travel in France and abroad, and collaboration across biometrics-based travel systems.

You will lead delivery of high‑tech IT systems, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence while maintaining strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience including a first role in technical project management and a solid technical background (development, integration, system engineering, or architecture).
• International project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2).
• Knowledge of the project lifecycle and Agile methodologies, with good organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish trust with both clients and teams.
• Professional proficiency in French and English is required to operate effectively in an international environment.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the delivery of high‑tech IT systems from the bid phase through to handover to maintenance teams.
• Support and lead project activities, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance, with regular reporting.
• Act as a key point of contact for the customer: drive communication, coordinate technical activities, and monitor project milestones.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams of developers, solution architects, integrators, and cybersecurity experts, while coordinating contributions from internal and external partners.
• Participate actively in pre‑sales activities and contribute to knowledge capitalization within the team.
• Apply project management practices: workload/resource planning, cost tracking (MS Project), risk management, subcontractor follow‑up, and customer acceptance.

Technical Project Manager – Travel & Transport Solutions

Osny (95) – R&D Center | Hybrid (2 days remote per week) | Travel in France and abroad

At our R&D Center in Osny, our teams design, develop, test, and deploy cutting‑edge travel and transport solutions for both French and international customers.

We cover a broad technological spectrum (servers, web, mobile, cloud, …) and deliver projects ranging from proof of concept to nationwide deployments.

Your Mission

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of innovative projects in the field of biometrics applied to travel and transport (identity verification, border control, passenger flow management, multi‑biometric identification, …).

This role is ideal for someone with a first experience in technical project management, who has also worked in a technical role (development, integration, system engineering, or architecture) and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Missions

Profile description

• Engineering degree (Master’s or equivalent)
• International project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2)
• 5 - 8 years’ experience including a first role in technical project management and a solid technical background (development, integration, system engineering, or architecture)
• Knowledge of the project lifecycle and Agile methodologies, with good organizational and leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish trust with both clients and teams
• Curious, rigorous, and motivated by challenges in a demanding and fast‑evolving technological environment
• Enjoy working in both French and international contexts
• Professional proficiency in French and English is required to operate effectively in an international environment
