About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver strategic projects aligned with organizational objectives. This role combines technical project execution, Agile leadership, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership
- Drive end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects aligned with business strategy and organizational goals.
- Plan and coordinate consistent release cycles and quarterly capacity planning.
- Define project scope, success metrics, and resource requirements while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate multi-workstream initiatives and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure transparent communication across all organizational levels.
Agile Transformation & Team Excellence
- Serve as Scrum Master for technical teams, promoting Agile principles and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and process refinement activities.
- Coach teams and product stakeholders on Agile practices and performance optimization.
- Monitor key delivery metrics including team velocity, burndown charts, and story cycle times.
Risk Management & Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute robust risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational dependencies across systems and teams.
- Create contingency and escalation plans for critical project milestones.
Stakeholder Excellence & Communication
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and open communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical, product, and business stakeholders.
- Deliver executive-level project reporting and progress updates.
- Ensure alignment between project execution and organizational objectives.
Process Innovation & PMO Leadership
- Contribute to PMO maturity and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities, leveraging AI and emerging tools.
- Establish project management standards and mentor junior project managers.
- Promote continuous learning and the implementation of best practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical project management experience in technology or digital product environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Agile / Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within matrixed organizations.
- Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and modern project management tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while driving cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications : PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
- Experience with workflow optimization and process reengineering.
- Familiarity with Airtable, Smartsheet, and AI-driven project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Background in web publishing, digital media, health information, or AI-based platforms.
- Prior experience mentoring teams and leading organizational change initiatives.
