Qualifications

  • Degree in Agronomy or related discipline, 0–4 years' experience in agronomy, agriculture or technical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of crop production, plant nutrition and biostimulants.
  • Experience with horticulture and cool climate grapes is essential.

Responsabilités

  • 34,800 The Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Agronomy Advisor to join a growing international agribusiness, supporting farmers and distributors across North and Central France.

This is a field-based role focused on agronomic advice, farmer engagement, technical support and market development for an innovative biostimulant product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with farmers and agricultural distributors across the region
  • Provide practical agronomic advice across horticultural crops and cool-climate grapes
  • Support the use of biostimulants within existing crop programmes
  • Organise farmer demonstration days and support on-farm trials
  • Work closely with distributors to support customer visits and technical sales
  • Attend agricultural events and develop a strong local network
  • Monitor trial results, farmer feedback and market developments
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on market activity The Company: An innovative international agribusiness combining sustainable agriculture with marine restoration.

The business develops evidence-based biostimulant products designed to improve crop resilience, soil health and agricultural sustainability, with operations and customers across multiple international markets.

The Candidate:
  • Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or a related discipline - 0–4 years' experience within agronomy, agriculture or technical sales
  • Strong knowledge of crop production, plant nutrition and biostimulants
  • Experience with horticulture and cool climate grapes is essential
  • Confident communicating technical information to farmers and distributors
  • Relationship-focused with a practical, hands on approach
  • Organised, resilient and comfortable working independently
  • Full driving licence and willingness to spend 50–60% of time travelling

Candidate Requirements All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for.

Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
