Biopharma Careers seeks a highly motivated System Engineer to drive specification, integration, and optimization of complex mechatronic and optical systems for advanced semiconductor metrology applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet system-level requirements through the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 5+ years in complex system development, with emphasis on optical systems, precision mechanics, or control systems.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optics, Metrology Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in complex system development, preferably in semiconductor equipment, metrology, or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong background in system integration and requirements engineering.
  • Experience with optical systems, precision mechanics, or control systems is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

  • Define and manage system-level requirements, specifications, and architectures for metrology and inspection machines.
  • Lead system integration and validation activities, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, optical, and software subsystems.
  • Perform system analysis and modeling to predict performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize designs.
  • Collaborate with R&D, software, hardware, and application engineers to ensure smooth development and deployment.
  • Support the V-cycle development in the company’s development department.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting during development and during customer ramp-up phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system design, reliability, and manufacturability.

Your role :

We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will drive the specification, definition, integration, and optimization of complex mechatronic and optical systems for advanced semiconductor metrology applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that system-level requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Defining and managing system-level requirements, specifications, and architectures for metrology and inspection machines.
  • Leading system integration and validation activities, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, optical, and software subsystems.
  • Performing system analysis and modeling to predict performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize designs.
  • Collaborating with R&D, software, hardware, and application engineers to ensure smooth development and deployment.
  • Supporting the V-cycle development in the company’s development department.
  • Assisting in root cause analysis and troubleshooting during development and during customer ramp-up phases.
  • Driving continuous improvement in system design, reliability, and manufacturability.
Who you are :
  • Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optics, Metrology Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in complex system development, preferably in semiconductor equipment, metrology, or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong background in system integration and requirements engineering.
  • Experience with optical systems, precision mechanics, or control systems is a strong plus. Knowledge of metrology concepts is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, international team environment.
