Institut Curie, in Paris, seeks a motivated Study Engineer (IE) in Biology to support a project on aneuploidy, centromeres, and germline deletions in neuroblastoma. The work uses hiPSCs, hiPSC-derived sympathoblasts, and neuroblastoma cell lines to understand tumor initiation and progression.
You will maintain and differentiate hiPSCs, manage the lab, perform transfection and molecular assays (including CRISPR), and collaborate with researchers to analyze data and advance the project.

Our team Molecular Mechanisms of Chromosome Dynamics, led by Daniele Fachinetti, investigates the fundamental principles that ensure the faithful transmission of genetic material in mammalian cells. We combine cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, biochemistry, and imaging to understand how centromeres are established, maintained, and function throughout the cell cycle. We also study how their deregulation can lead to genome instability – a key driver of many pathologies, including cancer.
Our team is seeking a motivated Study Engineer (IE) in Biology to contribute to a project investigating the role of aneuploidy, centromeres, and germline deletions in the transition from normal to tumoral states in neuroblastoma. The project focuses on human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs), hiPSC‑derived sympathoblasts, and neuroblastoma cell lines to better understand mechanisms of tumor initiation and progression.
