Airbus SAS in Toulouse seeks a Full Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician to join the Training Devices Maintenance & Support team. You will be the front line support for instructors and trainees, ensuring training devices operate reliably and performing IT/electronics troubleshooting.

Requirements include Bac+2/3 in Aeronautics, IT or automatisme, 3–5 years’ flight simulator experience, knowledge of Windows Server/Linux, and English at an intermediate level with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bac+2/+3 in Aeronautics, IT or automatisme (or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of experiences in Flight Simulator appreciated.
• Experience in network, Windows Server, Linux knowledge and/or Airbus flight systems knowledge.
• Understand customer needs, English intermediate level.
• Ability to work on rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night & 2/5 weekends) (35% pay bonus).

Responsabilités

• Ensure operation and maintenance tasks of the Training Devices to meet reliability standards.
• Perform technical troubleshooting (IT and electronics) and provide timely actions.
• Provide efficient reports to other teams and managers during training sessions.
• Ensure continuity of training centre operations outside normal hours when needed.

Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Full Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician (f/m) to join our Training Devices Maintenance & Support department in one of the five simulator technician team based in Toulouse, France. You will be in constant relation (24h/7d) with instructors and trainee customers as the front line support regarding Training Devices operations. Customer’s satisfaction is his priority and being accountable toward the hierarchy, for all his decisions: technical, operational and relational

Your challenges:

• Ensuring the operation and the maintenance tasks of the Training Devices in order to keep a level of reliability and MTBF requested by Airbus training and autorities standards
• Being accountable for the high quality level and timely actions when performing simulator trouble-shooting interventions ( IT and electronics ) following devices failures or instructors request
• Being accountable for providing technical troubleshooting outside Airbus working hours and therefore without immediate supervision
• Participating to the technical support and follow-up of the training sessions and provides efficient reports to others teams and managers
• Ensuring the training centre operation continuity outside normal working hours whenever the Team Leader is absent
• Keeping the devices at the right level by performing some updates

Your boarding pass:

• Bac+2/+3 in Aeronautics, IT or automatism (or equivalent)
• 3 to 5 years of experiences in Flight Simulator must be appreciated
• Experience in network, Windows Server, Linux knowledge and/or Knowledge of Airbus aircraft flight systems.
• Understand customer needs, English intermediate Level.
• Ability to work on specific shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night & 2/5 weekends) (35% pay bonus)
