CELESTAL is seeking a Senior Structural Mooring Designer to join an international multidisciplinary team. You will perform structural and mechanical design for offshore equipment, develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA 3Dx and AutoCAD, and ensure fabrication details meet project standards.

You will collaborate with Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, and contractors to manage interfaces, priorities, and schedules while delivering high-quality documentation and CAD models for

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
• Previous experience in structural design and detailed engineering.
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, structural detailing, and engineering documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural and mechanical design studies for offshore equipment and assemblies.

• Design structural components including plates, beams, welded connections, and fabrication details.

We’re Hiring | Structural Mooring Designer

Are you passionate about structural design, 3D modeling, and engineering complex offshore structures?

Do you enjoy transforming concepts into detailed designs while working in an international engineering environment?

At CELESTAL, we are currently supporting a major offshore engineering project and we are looking for a Senior Structural Mooring Designer to join an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Your Responsibilities

Structural Design & Engineering

• Perform structural and mechanical design studies for offshore equipment and assemblies
• Develop and review 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA 3Dx and AutoCAD
• Design structural components including plates, beams, welded connections, and fabrication details
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, engineering standards, and fabrication constraints
• Produce and verify engineering documentation within the project data management system

CAD & Technical Deliverables

• Create and maintain accurate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Manage engineering documentation, technical reports, Excel files, and project presentations
• Work with complex CAD models while ensuring consistency, quality, and traceability
• Support design reviews and continuously improve drawing quality and modeling practices

Engineering Collaboration

• Work closely with Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Coordinate technical interfaces across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Manage priorities, schedules, and assigned engineering activities autonomously
• Identify technical issues and propose practical engineering solutions

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical education
• Previous experience in structural design and detailed engineering
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, structural detailing, and engineering documentation

Technical Skills

• CATIA 3Dx
• AutoCAD
• Navisworks
• Excel (VBA is a plus)
• Python is an advantage
• Strong experience with CAD software and management of complex 3D models
• Knowledge of structural connections, welding, fabrication, dimensioning, and 2D/3D design
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
